Last night I had dinner with Wan and window shopped for a while. Bumped into MJ while waiting for a space at the dressing room in Topshop! It was really crowded at Bugis so Wan and I decided to visit the new Clifford Pier at Marina-- It's like the ultimate 'couple' place; you'd expect to find couples romanticising on the open-roofed top floor. It's overlooking the sea, but a little too dark for anyone to see beyond a few hundred metres out at night. I think the most appropriate time to go there is during sunset for dinner at the restaurant. Go for a table by the balconies and get romantic... oh I forgot to mention that there's a patch of grass at the top floor for star gazers at night, and this bar-lounge nearby playing love songs. Sounds like it could get as close to a perfect evening date huh. But the down side is that the location is rather secluded, so good for you if you have your own ride.
