hotchocolate&honey: epilogue

I guess I don't need an online dairy anymore... I've simply grown out of it.

Life for me has changed much ever since I left school. And because this is my last entry, I'd like to note a few things.

Lynn will be missed by me when she stops working in the office.
My 4th year anniversary with Wan is this June25th. Honestly, I think he's my prospective life partner and the account is growing, slow but steady.
I still get to meet some close friends despite long working hours.

I wish to pass my driving license by this year. My Pa's support is greatly appreciated.
I really, really wish to resume my studies and meet new people next year. Pencil case is already packed as of today, ha ha.

It's Mother's day tomorrow. Got my Mom a bouquet last night since she likes flowers. Well she didn't know how much I appreciate it when she makes my breakfast every morning.

And of course, the day my cousin comes back from Bejing is anticipated, which is in June and by then my lil sis will probably be in Siem Reap for her history trip. Pray they'll have a safe flight and bon voyage.

Let's see how things go from here.

repeating: la valse d'amelie

Saturday, 5th April 2008:

Met his parents. Not only the parents, the family. First time in like, almost 4 years. Wan's dad calls me ah moi and his mom has a very friendly face. I spoke to his sister most of the time, she's only a year younger than me. His family looks like such fun people. Had dinner outside, then went to his older sister's place which had a really nice game room where we played fooseball. I looked like I was barbecuing the plastic soccer dummies! haha.

Which reminds me of how apart my family is. I got to admit they aren't very enthusiastic people, only parking their asses in front of the tv every evening... but thank goodness for my dog. He's makes the home more interesting with him barking every once in a while. I think I might have to get used to Wan's family gatherings, if necessary, cause its not the norm for me here.

three years and three quarter of a year and counting and...

It's the 3rd year and 9 month anniversary for my guy and I. Therefore I shall wish us a happy anniversary, and along with that I wish for a new cool gadget, excluding any sort of battery operated things or foreign tools... TY N ILU.

soch nonsense

I have already showered and am in my pink furry suit meow. Keeps me warm and cozy in this weather. And I have just arranged the pictures the way I like in the previous post, since I have soch time.

FYI. Soch= So+much.

and and and... I love u!

greenhouse cafe and movies

Last Saturday we had dinner at the Greenhouse Cafe and watched Step up2!

Beef lasagne: not particularly my favourite... cos I'm not really a tomato fan. (Snail, take note uh! :) Hehe. I ordered it cos of the beefy beef. I like beef. However my palates thought the tomato soup doesn't taste as tomato-ish as I had imagined...so its not bad after all. I was hoping they had clam chowder for soup of the day.

The fries were yummy. The texture, thickness and crispiness all there.

Yup that's my doe eyed friend Fadilah/Elsha/ Snail!

I'm not going to eat the garnish for sure...

I wish I had time to arrange my pictures in perfect order, haha. But unfortunately its really late and I gotta go to bed. Like NOW?

weekend flea market shopping and hopping

I don't use 'hopping' for no reason nor rhyme... Geraldine and I did hop from one flea market to another and then another. Three flea markets in total, in one Saturday. And I've got to say that the one at Zouk had many (costly) things that are nice to see, but not mine to touch. Even the Bachelors. HAHA. However I did encourage Geraldine to do what I might do if I were still single...Use those coupons to get what you want! Lime flea market was the most satisfying for me, since I got most of my stuff there. For showing off purposes, I have listed the things I got from flea market shopping below. Outrageous.

Zara sheer blouse 3.50
Zara skirt 2.00
Zara satin pants 10.00
Topshop blouse 1.00
Phuture London top (Very lovely) 2.00
a brandless dress 10.00
Dorothy Perkins blouse, 2 pieces (Very very lovely) 13.00

the process of turning into a vanilla souffle

I went through more than half of February without updating this blog. Odd enough I'm losing touch with the internet world, having difficulties keeping up with the latest music & trend...travelling back in time.

I shall watch 10,000 B.C next week. I want to.

Does anyone understand what being employed full-time does to a person? People like me are being kept away from direct sunlight, stored in a cool, dry place... completely holed up in the office. I could get really pale if not for the one hour's dose of sunlight during lunchtime. And I feed myself a lot. I'm 43 now, according to the reading from the weighing scale at Rina's place.

Now now am I complaining? no... 2 kg is not bad news. Unless it shows at my belly. However I think I haven't been excercising for quite sometime, and so for the sake of keeping healthy and fit I think I might start jogging soon. I'm getting sleepy now. But still I'm going off to park myself in front of the TV downstairs... It's the weekend anyway...

rarely am i home on tuesday afternoons

Alright but I'm going back to work tomorrow, 9 to 11 am, then there will be a cny opening celebration, following a company lunch... that's about it! Wonderful. And by the way, I have read (& skimmed through some parts) The Secret History by Donna Tartt. Not exactly my preferred genre, but I say its beautifully written, not your typical kind of thriller.
